NAID 2010 According to Chris McBrien
Having only joined the company in late 2009, you can imagine my nerves at the prospect of heading up the All Source Security Container USA booth at the NAID 2010 trade show. This was a great responsibility being asked of me. With a rich history of 16 years at the forefront of the document destruction industry, NAID has always been a leader. At the forefront of container suppliers to the industry, All Source Security Container USA has also proven itself to be a leader. The annual convention has always been the largest social networking and marketing venue for this growing and progressive industry. To find one’s self suddenly thrust into any new industry can be somewhat of a stressful and overwhelming experience. Thankfully for myself, the opposite was true. I can not imagine a more inclusive, progressive industry than the shredding business.
Being a novice to the shredding world as well as new to my position with All Source Security Container USA, I must say that I was a little surprised at being asked to organize the company’s involvement in the NAID 2010 event. However, I took to the task at hand with an eagerness to please and a desire to succeed. From my first contact with NAID through to the final day of the conference, I must say that I have never dealt with a more positive, progressive and dedicated group than those I experienced at NAID. When I needed support, they were there for me. When I needed answers, solutions, guidance and inspiration, I knew I could turn to the NAID organization for assistance. In particular, my dealings with Tracy Tarlton were simply exceptional. If all of my contacts in the shredding industry in the future are of the same quality as my dealings with the NAID Sales Manager at this conference, I will know that I have made a solid career choice.
Furthermore, what better introduction to the industry could one have than with All Source Security Container USA? As the leading container supplier to the industry, All Source Security Container USA proved this year at NAID 2010 that it is a company comprised of professionalism, pride, quality and service. This was prominent throughout the show. From the ‘All Source Lounge’ on opening night to the entire Friday devoted to the ‘Green Advantage’ in promoting responsible environmental policies, All Source Security Container USA proved once again that it is a leader.
I am proud to have been such an integral part of this year’s conference for an industry forerunner like All Source Security Container USA and an industry association like NAID….. two leaders in their field.
